The ADR Institute of Canada’s Annual National Conference will be held in Toronto, October 13 – 15, 2016. ADRIC holds the conference in a different part of the country every year to provide exposure to these regions and to highlight the country’s diversity so that we can learn from each other. (For more information and updates: www.ADRIC.ca)
If you are interested in speaking, the ADRIC 2016 Committee invites you to submit a proposal.

Proposals will be evaluated and selected based on the following criteria:
- New and innovative topic
- Eligibility for LSUC Professionalism CPD Accreditation

- Past speaking experience and knowledge in relation to the topic
As a non-profit organization, the conference is financed by sponsorship, which helps keep registration fees more reasonable. All else being equal, speakers who sponsor are preferred. If you are not able to sponsor yourself, please consider asking a business or firm interested in your topic to sponsor.
NOTE: The sessions are NOT a platform for selling products or services.
Session Length: Sessions are scheduled to last either 75 or 90 minutes. Adherence to timing is exceptionally important.
Session Size: Audience size generally ranges from 30-80 for break-out sessions.
Session Type: Proposals may be in the following formats: Presentations, Workshops, Case Studies, Panel Discussions, Open Forums, or Dialogue Circles.
SELECTION PROCESS
Proposal Submission Deadline: Monday June 3, 2016 at 11:59pm EST. Only complete submissions will be given consideration. The Conference committee may recommend that similar proposals combine into one session.
To allow us to provide presentations and content that is accredited for Continuing Professional Development (CDP) credits by the Law Society of Upper Canada, preference will be given to proposals that touch on subjects listed below. Please identify which, if any, of the topics below will be addressed during your conference session, and indicate how much time during your session you will devote to each topic (if applicable).
Please be sure to save or print a copy of your proposal before submitting it as it contains valuable information on the requirements and format of the sessions.
