If your Regional Affilliate does not have a customized application form and directs you to ADRIC, a generic form is available for  here. If you wish to type in the document, ensure you have saved it to your computer before you start and again after you have completed it, then print or email it to us. C.Arb Frequently Asked Questions

1. What is a Chartered Arbitrator (C.Arb) designation?
The C. Arb Or Chartered Arbitrator designation is Canada’s only official designation for practising Arbitrators. Please click here for a more complete description of the requirements.

2. Are there prerequisites?
The applicant must be a member in good standing of ADRIC through one of our seven affiliates. There are extensive training and experience requirements which you should review before you consider applying. The applicant must also sign and submit the Declaration of Insurance form indicating that they have insurance in the amount of $1 million or check the appropriate box for an exemption of the requirement. 3. Where do I get the C.Arb Application Form?
You can print the application form from this website or phone your local affiliate, and they will mail or fax a copy upon request. Please contact your local affiliate for the appropriate filing fee.

4. Is there a fee for the C.Arb application?
For information about application fees call your local affiliate.

5. Is there an ongoing cost?
The annual fee to maintain your C.Arb designation is $178.00 (plus applicable taxes), effective January 2016. The national organization bills you every year. You must also remain a member in good standing with your local affiliate to retain this designation.

6. How do I apply? 
Forward your completed application form, and payment along with any attachments necessary to verify the courses you have taken and the work you have done (think of it as marketing yourself to the accreditation committee), to your local affiliate.
