While popular attention fastens on the drama of conflicts between groups, conflict within groups is a quieter, but more widespread reality. Whether in a political movement, religious group, public service agency, organization, or commercial enterprise, circumstances inevitably arise when big differences of opinion exist, feelings are strong, decisions must be made, and time is limited.
Our presentation will be about remote mediation: how it has changed mediation practices, how it is now the preferred method of mediation in many Florida cases; and how it has made stand-alone mediation practice a viable business. We will outline the classic in person mediation model prior to 2020.
