At its most recent meeting, the ODRTF Members discussed that there appears to be a work opportunity to work with Law Office Practice Managers to teach how to digitize documents to enable them to be put on /shared on screen. This includes the challenge of using technology effectively, sharing documents and multiple email addresses etc., and related security issues. Entrepreneurs may want to keep this future facing opportunity in mind as law firms, and others, move from traditional paper based systems in bricks and mortar courts, to electronic and online justice systems. It’s an important skill to be able to know how to produce appropriate PDF documents, briefs, electronic signatures, etc in advance of moving to digital justice.
