The ADR Institute of Manitoba invites you to their Spring Professional Development program: Deepening the Art of Facilitation: Nurturing the Possibility of Healing, June 8th in Winnipeg.
Presenter: Betty Pries, CEO, Credence & Co
As conflict resolution practitioners we are generally excellent conflict technicians. Are we also excellent conflict healers? While both healing and technical conversations are important, our trainings have tended to focus on the technical to the exclusion of that which brings deeper and profound relational healing. Part of the answer to this dilemma can be found with a fuller, more nuanced view of the self. A view of the self that is multi-layered and honours the deeper dimensions of selfhood expands what is possible in the mediation room, transforms the questions facilitators ask, transforms ADR interventions and opens the door to the healing power of facilitative conversations.
