Indigenous Practitioners (IP) Inclusion Initiative Applications Now Open
ADRIC is proud to announce the launch of the Indigenous Practitioners (IP) Inclusion Initiative, a key step in advancing our commitment to Truth and Reconciliation in Canada.
Starting November 18, 2024, Indigenous practitioners who hold or are candidates for ADRIC designations (Q.Med or Q.Arb) can apply to have their 2025 designation fees waived. This waiver is available for up to three (3) years, or until achieving a C.Med or C.Arb designation, providing meaningful support during critical stages of professional growth.
This initiative, spearheaded by ADRIC’s Diversity & Inclusion Committee, aims to:
- Increase inclusion and representation of Indigenous ADR practitioners within ADRIC.
- Recognize and integrate non-colonial conflict resolution practices into ADR frameworks.
Applications close December 31, 2024, at 5:00 PM ET. For details on eligibility and the application process, visit adric.ca/indigenous-practitioner-inclusion-initiative or contact administrativecoordinator@adric.ca.
Join us in advancing reconciliation and fostering a more inclusive future for Alternative Dispute Resolution in Canada.
