In 2022, Gary Lacasse stepped into the role of Executive Director at the ADR Institute of Canada (ADRIC), igniting a pivotal era for the organization. With a keen eye on evolving stakeholders’ needs, Gary embarked on a journey to reshape ADRIC’s trajectory within the dynamic sector of dispute resolution.

Before embracing the non-profit realm, Gary carved a distinguished path in the private sector, culminating as a Strategic Director in sales and marketing. However, driven by a profound shift in professional ethos, he transitioned his expertise to fuel the missions of numerous non-profit entities. Armed with a wealth of financial acumen and communication prowess, Gary empowered organizations such as the Quebec Health and Wellbeing Commission, COCQ-sida, The Council for Quebec Gays & Lesbians, the Tremblant Chamber of Commerce, and Fondation Tremblant.

Gary’s commitment to advancing knowledge extended beyond organizational

boundaries. He actively participated in various research initiatives, spanning the CHIWOS’ Canadian HIV Women’s Sexual and Reproductive Health Cohort Study, UQAM-Plurielles, Stigma

Index, and the development of pivotal Medical Guidelines for Cannabis and Chronic Pain Research, which saw publication in 2023. His engagements also encompassed critical areas like mental health and HIV, underscoring his holistic approach to societal challenges

As Executive Director Gary embarks on a visionary quest, forging innovative partnerships and driving groundbreaking research. His leadership serves as the cornerstone for charting the future landscape of the dispute resolution profession, shaping its essence, identity, and direction.

Gary Lacasse
