We currently need Volunteers for the following:

ADRIC Mediation Rules/Guidelines Working Group – ADRIC wishes to update its Mediation Rules/Guidelines. This working group began a review and update last year, but some members were not able to continue. We would like cross-country representation. If you are a Chartered Mediator, please consider participating in this important work. Time required: 2-4 hours/month until end of October, when ideally a draft revision would be delivered by the Group to the ADRIC Board.
As we have three members from AB, we invite members from other regions to consider joining.

ADR Perspectives Editorial Board – This e-newsletter goes out to parties and their counsel. We would like a francophone member to source, review and edit articles en français. Time required: 1-2 hours/month.
We invite a member from BC to consider joining; ideally someone connected with mediators.

National Arbitration Course Committee – We need two more members to assist in reviewing, and updating the National Introductory Arbitration Course. Time required: 1-2 hours/month.
We invite a member from SK or QC to consider joining.

National Mediation Course Committee
We invite a member from ON, QC or Atlantic to consider joining.

Education Development Committee – ADRIC currently licenses the National Introductory Arbitration Course and the National Introductory Mediation Course to those affiliates wishing to participate in presenting the courses themselves or via a third party provider. We would like to expand the Education Program to include advanced courses, webinars and other materials. To this end, we require a Chair and members for the Education Development Committee.
We invite a member from ON or MB to consider joining.

To express your interest in any of these opportunities, please contact ADRIC’s Executive Director at janetmckay[at] indicating which committee you might like to join and how your related experience/skill might benefit the group, and copy your affiliate.
