Marsh Canada Limited continues to be your appointed broker for the ADRIC Group Insurance Program. IMPORTANT NOTICE ON CLAIMS
The Professional Liability policy is a CLAIMS-MADE AND REPORTED policy which requires that all claims against you or incidents which arise that may result in a claim during the policy period be reported immediately to the Insurer before the expiration of the policy. It is prudent that you report claims or circumstances which may give rise to a claim to the Insurer to avoid denial of coverage.
Your Property and/or Commercial General Liability policy is written on an Occurrence based policy.
EXTENDED REPORTING (ERP) / Tail Coverage
Liability may not cease by virtue of retiring from the practice of ADR. As such, the policy contains a provision which allows members (in the instances of death, retirement or cessation of business) to purchase an Extended Reporting Period which provides coverage for activities conducted prior to the death, retirement or cessation of business.
Premium for the ERP coverage effective in the first year following death, retirement or cessation of business is 75% of the last annual premium paid.
This insurance covers you for claims made against you after you have stopped practicing. For more information please see: Extended Reporting Period (ERP) Options
The information on this page is only an overview of the Insurance program. The detailed terms, conditions and exclusions of coverage are set out in the Policy. The Terms and Conditions of coverage, as well as the cost of coverage, are subject to change or updating by the Insurance Company.
