On October 14, 2016, at ADRIC’s Annual Conference, the Lionel McGowan awards were presented in recognition of leadership and excellence in the field of Alternative Dispute Resolution.
Mr. Jim McCartney received National recognition for his significant and longstanding leadership in the ADR community within the province of Alberta. Jim was key to the development of what is now the ADR Institute of Alberta and has continued that leadership at the National level.
At the Regional level, Mr. Andrew Butt was recognized for his leadership of the ADR Atlantic Institute that has seen tremendous growth in membership, capacity, and influence across the region.
We applaud both gentlemen as worthy recipients of the McGowan award.
