… is a decorated mediator, arbitrator/adjudicator, investigator, writer and professor. He has passion for the field of dispute resolution and is regarded as a national leader in Online Dispute Resolution.
Marc holds our senior mediator and arbitrator “chartered” designations. His educational credentials include a Master of Laws in Dispute Resolution from Osgoode Hall Law School (2019) and an Executive Certificate in Conflict Management from the University of Windsor’s Faculty of Law / Stitt Feld Handy (2012).
Marc’s private practice is complemented by both his academic pursuits and service on provincial and municipal administrative tribunals.
Marc has spoken across the continent and regularly guest lectures at a number of law schools (those he refers to as “the good ones”). Marc is an accomplished writer who has been widely published, including in peer-reviewed academic journals and through a dispute resolution column he writes for SLAW, Canada’s online legal magazine.
Marc is faculty at Osgoode Hall Law School’s Master of Laws program in Dispute Resolution. He is a Curriculum Developer and Instructor of York University’s Certificate in Dispute Resolution. Marc serves as an Academic Partner of the Authentic Allyship Project, where he contributes as a non-Indigenous ally. He is also faculty at the Canadian Collaborative for Engagement & Conflict Management and a regular contributor to events and publications of the ADR Institute of Ontario.
Marc is a recipient of the ADR Institute of Ontario’s STAR Award for dedication, leadership and support of the field of dispute resolution and is the only dispute resolution practitioner who has been honoured nationally by the Canadian Condominium Institute with a Distinguished Service Award.
Marc represents Ontario on the Board of Directors of the ADR Institute of Canada, having joined the Board in 2022. He is based in Toronto and is a roster mediator of Ontario’s Mandatory Mediation Program in Toronto, Windsor and Ottawa.
