15th annual national event to host leaders in international arbitration, commercial mediation, family law dispute resolution and indigenous matters under the theme of “ADR: Reflections and Innovations”
Toronto, Canada – September 25, 2016 – ADRIC Conference (adric.ca/adric2016/), Canada’s largest, most prestigious and most important ADR event, has announced the agenda for ADRIC 2016 Toronto, which includes a broad spectrum of captivating sessions and thought-provoking workshops. The conference will be held from October 13-14, 2016 at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel, in conjunction with the Canadian edition of the IMI Global Pound Conference on October 15, 2016 at the Canadian Broadcasting Centre (adric.ca/global-pound-conference/).
With highly qualified alternative dispute resolution professionals from across the country expected to attend, ADRIC 2016 Toronto aims to provide a platform for ADR professionals and users to discuss current hot topics in dispute resolution, and develop best practices in the areas of domestic and international arbitration, mediation, family dispute resolution and various specialty topics.
The event, with its theme of “ADR: Reflections and Innovations”, will feature seven tracks, two keynote sessions and a half-day Community Mediation Workshop that will involve in-depth conversations across a range of topics and industries. The tracks are international arbitration, commercial arbitration, commercial mediation, ADR processes, Family, Workplace, and Special Interest. The two keynote addresses will be delivered by Howard Sapers, Correctional Investigator, Office of the Correctional Investigator, Government of Canada, and Ann Cavoukian, Ph.D., Privacy and Big Data Institute, Ryerson University.
