We are preparing for an exciting year ahead which will provide various opportunities for alternative dispute resolution (ADR) practitioners to participate in furthering the ADR Community.
While we pivot our committee model to enhance the dialogue between ADRIC staff and the operational committees, we are restructuring committee structure(s) to ensure that your voice is heard and becomes the consultative arm we need to move our institute forward.
We are grateful to the outgoing members for their hard work and dedication over the years!
NEW committee structure:
- Mediation Steering Committee:
Providing advice and support in all matters related to mediation, including but not limited to rules, designations, course development, and roster management. - Arbitration Steering Committee:
Providing advice and support in all matters related to arbitration, including but not limited to rules, designations, course development, and roster management. - Ethics and Professional Practice:
Providing advice and support in enforcing policies and rules approved by the Board of Directors.
Ad hoc Standing Committees:
- Government Relations:
Members to help inform and influence federal officials and senior bureaucrats to establish regulations and policies to support our members and designations’ growth and recognition of Dispute Resolution. If you want to be a part of bolstering ADRIC’s reputation as the key authority on Dispute Resolution issues in the Federal government. - Under 40 Forum:
Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) Under 40 committee. - ODR Committee:
Provides advice and support in all matters related to Online Dispute Resolution, including but not limited to rules, designations, course development and roster management. - National Conference Committee:
Be part of a dynamic planning committee for our upcoming National Conference that will be held in Halifax on November 2nd and 3rd.

- Canadian Arbitration and Mediation Journal Editorial Board
- ADRIC Arbitration Rules
