Barry Effler

… is a full time arbitrator, mediator and consultant. He currently serves as the Chair of the National Arbitration Designation Committee for ADRIC and member and past chair of the National Rules Committee for Arbitration, Mediation and Med-Arb rules.

Barry is a former Registrar-General of Manitoba, a past president of the ADR Institute of Canada and a past chair of the Canadian Bar Association national ADR section. Barry was awarded the National McGowan Award of Excellence by ADRIC and the Peter Fidler Award by the Association of Manitoba Land Surveyors, their highest award.
