Elise has cumulated almost 20 years of experience in the field of violence and harassment, in both union and non-union environments. Elise is a bilingual, Chartered Human Resources Professional (CHRP) Distinguished Fellow and Certified Harassment Investigator (ECH). She is a Chartered mediator by the Institut de médiation et d’arbitrage du Québec (IMAQ) and the ADR Institute of Canada (ADRIC) and Member of the Canadian Institute for Conflict Resolution (CICR). She works at Dialogue, a well established firm in the business community and specialized in the prevention and resolution of disputes. She has served as president of the organization ever since.
Having worked in labour relations and human resources management for several years, she has been involved in the federal government’s Commissions of Inquiry review process. She has also intervened in various harassment cases, violence and workplace conflicts with Federal entities. She has notably advised senior leaders in the implementation and administration of anti-harassment policies in both public and private sectors, as well as in establishing effective response strategies related to harassment and violence complaints.
She has successfully fulfilled various mandates of mediation, investigations and conferences with private, public and para-public organizations. She has also counselled public figures in high-profile and mediatized cases. She acts as an expert witness before the courts regarding the conduct of harassment investigations.
Elise teaches seminars at Continuing studies and graduate program of Dispute Prevention and Resolution through the University of Sherbrooke Law Faculty.
