Marco is a full-time conflict resolver, devoted lawyer, mediator, workplace investigator, and conflict consultant focused on solving business, corporate, family, and workplace issues. He is based in Victoria and serves clients across Canada. Prior to private practice, Marco worked as Crown Counsel with the Department of Justice within the Business & Regulatory, Public Prosecution and National Security & Defence sections as well as serving as a Legal Advisor to the Department of Fisheries and Oceans.
In 2024, Marco led a number of successful mediations and consultations spanning a variety of sectors including a substantial business valuation dispute, a contentious dispute between a local government and an indigenous group, a significant contractual dispute between an energy company and a long-term supplier, along with a number of other workplace, family, business, and shareholder matters. Marco also routinely advises companies on resolving or preventing workplace conflict and leads workshops, environmental scans, investigations, and team mediations.
He holds a juris doctor in law from UBC, a diploma of arbitration from Oxford University and certificates of mediation, leadership, and negotiation from Harvard Law. He is currently writing a book on using the power of curiosity and authenticity for better outcomes in dispute resolution.
