Travis Blaine has a Degree of Bachelor of Science with a major in Criminal Justice from Minot State University and a certificate in Mediation Skills through the Resolution Skills Center. Prior to being employed at Westman Mediation Services, Travis worked for six years as a Correctional Officer, Parole Officer and Correctional Supervisor at Stony Mountain Institution through the Correctional Service of Canada. In 2007, Travis found his calling and became a Victim-Offender Mediator at Westman Mediation Services. In 2016, Travis became the Restorative Justice Coordinator for the Westman and Parkland regions of Manitoba.
Travis has been a guest speaker at two International Justice Restorative conferences and has spoken at multiple National Justice Restorative conferences during his tenure. Travis also provides training and presentations in Restorative Justice and he is a trained Facilitator for Interpersonal Conflict Resolution and Mediation Skills.
