Conflict Resolution DayConflict Resolution Day

octobre 19, 2017Conflict Resolution Day is recognized annually on the third Thursday in October.
Initiated in 2005 by the Association for Conflict Resolution (ACR), Conflict Resolution Day is now an annual international event promoting the concept of peaceful conflict resolution through dialogue.
The purpose of Conflict Resolution Day includes:
- Promoting awareness of mediation, arbitration and other creative means of resolving conflict through dialogue;
- Promoting the use of dialogue-based conflict resolution skills and resources in schools, families, businesses, non-profit organizations, communities, governments, and our legal system;
- Recognizing the significant contributions of peaceful conflict resolvers in every sector; and
- Creating synergy by celebrating dialogue-based conflict resolution internationally on the same day
